The latest performance from Ashtead Players, the comedy Spirit Level, is at Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall this November.

When famous crime writer Jack Cameron and his wife Susie drown in a boating accident they are refused entry to heaven and return to haunt their country cottage.

Their only pleasure comes from spooking the estate agent and frightening away would-be tenants, but they take a liking to Simon, an aspiring crime writer and Flic, his wife, who move in despite Flic’s monstrous mother trying to separate them.

The unexpected intervention of Susie’s guardian angel moves events along, but will Christmas bring a happy ending for them all?
