Sarah Frame is a fantastic photographer, and local Ashtead resident, who specialises in newborn photography and family photo shoots. She’s exceptionally talented at what she does and brings a refreshing perspective to family photography. Thanks in part to being a mother of two, she’s able to bring a personal touch to her work. We loved that Sarah's approach went beyond mere snapshots – she was able to capture our family in a way that really showed off everyone’s personalities. 

Plus she made the whole process so so so easy. From the moment we met with Sarah, we were impressed by her dedication to getting the best shot of our kids. That must be down to her wealth of experience, which undoubtedly helped make our time with her as pleasurable as it was. She started taking photos as a teenager with her first SLR camera, and since then, she has been taking shots of families and loved ones ever since - with an unwavering enthusiasm. 

What sets Sarah apart is her belief that photography is not just about capturing poses, but about telling stories. Sarah's philosophy revolves around flexibility and getting a truly authentic shot. As a mother herself, she understands the chaos and unpredictability of family life. Whether it's a newborn needing a feed or kids requiring a break, Sarah's shoots adapt to the rhythm of a family. Her relaxed approach allows her to capture genuine moments – from grubby hands and messy hair to cheeky grins and tender glances.

Following a session, she provides sneak peeks within 24 to 48 hours, offering a glimpse of the magic captured through her lens. She then meticulously edits the images, presenting them in an online gallery within 2 to 4 weeks. 

Above all, though, Sarah's strength lies in her ability to connect with her clients on a personal level. By creating a truly comfortable environment, she encourages families to be themselves, resulting in photographs that resonate. Her knack for understanding children's behaviour ensures that even the most energetic youngsters feel at ease during the shoot. She also has a keen eye for detail ensures that each image reflects the unique dynamics and emotions shared within the family unit.
